so i am walking back to the student center after class the other day. and its like freezing, so i am not taking my sweet time, and i am walking and walking and then i notice i am slipping and i tried to catch myself but i didnt not suceed. Instead i find my self doing the splits and i cant get up really fast. so i laugh, not because i thought it was funny, but i was hoping that if i laughed other people would know i wasnt embarassed. but truth is, i was.

I’d bet a great deal of personal pain and suffering has been endured silently in the name of not being embarrassed. When I was at MSU I tried hopping neatly over a low chain fence – but I caught my toe on the chain, fell face first in the snowy grass with all my books going out of my backpack and over my head – all while the chain removed layers of skin from my shins. People were all over the place too – it was crowded. “I meant to do that!!” (Yeah, right…)
